Hire is by the full day. As a 24-hour facility there are no restrictions on your hours, just confirm your start and finish times before your booking day.
With two hair basins, no more than three hairdressers are booked at any one time. Coordinate basin timings so the day runs smoothly for everyone.
A quick end-of-day clean keeps the studio beautiful for the next professional. Everything you need is on site.

Chair hire at Sugarcoat Studios starts at $130 + GST per casual day with no commitment. The weekly rate is $400 + GST (minimum four months, with six flexible holiday weeks a year), and our 3-month pack is $110 + GST per day for one to three days a week. All rates exclude GST.
We are at 238 Unley Road, Unley, only minutes from Adelaide's CBD, in the beautifully designed space behind the 24-hour Sugarcoat Tanning Studio.
Your day includes a styling chair and station, two professional wash basins, a kitchenette, and tea and coffee facilities. You bring your own products, tools, hair dryers, towels and capes.
No. You can book casual days with no commitment, or lock in a regular day on a weekly or 3-month rate when you are ready. It is entirely up to you.
The space suits independent hair stylists and makeup artists building their own clientele. Contractors need to hold a minimum of $20 million public liability insurance.
